About ZenHeads Massage Studio:

ZenHeads was founded in 2025 by Alyssa Coulter. We're located in West Knoxville and currently have a studio just outside of Farragut. All staff members are thoroughly vetted and we’re proud of our small, talented team.

We're not just any massage studio, but a thriving small business that puts the power of the nervous system first….that means our amazing clients and YOU, a HUMAN massage therapist.

We focus exclusively on massage therapy for sensitive nervous systems, with an emphasis on helping our clients find relief from chronic stress, illness, and pain. Through our widely loved ASMR social media channels, we’ve built a strong core of followers and clients and developed services that utilize gentle modalities and techniques that are effective without burning you out.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $35 per hour - $55 per hour of massage (based on experience and skill) + gratuity + bonus opportunities

  • +$5 per massage hour increase for ASMR massage clients

What Success Looks Like at ZenHeads:

First 90 Days:

  • Complete our thorough onboarding training

  • Build initial regular client base

  • Master our booking systems and our online resources

  • Achieve 90% client satisfaction rate

First Year:

  • Develop full, loyal client base

Required Qualifications:

  • Current TN state massage license

  • Professional liability insurance

  • Evening and weekend availability (See scheduling section below)

The Interview

  • Initial phone conversation (20 minutes)

  • Reference check (2 professional references)

  • Skills assessment and hands-on interview (60 min hands on massage + 30 minute in person interview)

  • Official offer or rejection notice

A Day in the Life:

  • Arrive 30 minutes before first session

  • Review client notes and prepare room

  • Perform 3-4 massages during your shift

  • Document SOAP notes between/after sessions

  • End day with an organized room and happy clients!

Schedule Requirements

  • AM and PM shifts available

  • AM shift is 10am - 3:15pm

  • PM shift is 3:00pm - 8:15pm

  • Minimum of three shifts per week (to qualify for staff perks like free monthly massages and continuing ed reimbursement).

  • Must have at least 1 weekend and 1 PM shift available per week.

  • Extended shifts / doubles are available upon request but will never be required.
